Influencer Cody Edwards has been very open about his struggles with vitiligo, and credits his Korean skin care routine for helping his skin during the various changes. "Vitiligo isn't just about losing my skin color. It also increases sensitivity to the sun and there's an increased risk of autoimmune issues. Korean skin care products have made me much more comfortable with sun exposure".

Fashion model Toque suffers from albinism and all of the side effects that can come with it. They adopted a Korean skin care regimen after their first time on the catwalk. "My skin is extremely sensitive, so the make up removal process can be brutal. One of the make up artists recommended a small Korean brand to help with my sensitive skin. I ran with it, and won't use anything else".
